·Supports Main Profile @ Main Level of the MPEG-2 visual standard (ISO/IEC 13818-2).
·Image resolutions: QCIF (176x144), SIF (320x240), CIF (352x288), D1 (720x576) or any multiple of 16x16 up to D1 (720x576).
·Frame Type: Progressive or Interlaced.
·Input Frame Formats: YCbCr 4:2:0.
·Supported Bit Rates: up to 15000 kbps.
·Variable GOP structure (I, I/P, IBPBP, IBBPBBP..) and configurable intra refresh periods.
·Closed GOP is available, and the specific product for the C64x+ architecture allows dynamic change of the input frame resolution (only when closed GOP is enabled) and dynamic change of bitrate.
